Sun Map collects only the information needed to operate the site, understand whether it is useful and respond to requests.

Information we collect

• Site usage: If you allow analytics, Google Analytics records pages, general device information, referral sources and actions such as opening the map or requesting a report. Google Analytics is not loaded until you choose to allow it.
• Map requests: Google Maps Platform receives requests needed to stream the 3D map. The approximate starting area may be chosen using an IP location service. Browser location is used only when you allow it.
• Email and report requests: If you submit a form, we store your email and the information you provide so we can respond.
• Purchases: If a paid offer is accepted, Stripe processes checkout, tax and payment information as merchant of record. Sun Map does not receive your full card details.
• Local settings: The app may store preferences in your browser.

How we use information

We use this information to provide the map, respond to requests, deliver purchases, improve the product, measure the customer journey and prevent abuse. We do not sell personal information.

Service providers

Sun Map uses Google Analytics, Google Maps Platform, Vercel, Resend, Stripe and an IP location service. Each provider processes limited information needed to supply its service.

Your choices

You can decline analytics when the site asks, clear the saved choice in your browser, deny location access and ask for your submitted enquiry information to be removed. Purchase records may need to be kept for legal and tax purposes.
