Visual planning aid

Sun Map estimates sunlight and shadows using available 3D map data and astronomical calculations. Buildings, windows, trees, terrain and recent development may be simplified, incomplete or out of date. Sun Map is not a survey, legal opinion, planning opinion or guarantee.

Your responsibility

Check important decisions through an in-person visit and, where appropriate, a qualified professional. Do not rely on Sun Map alone for a property purchase, construction, safety, solar or financial decision.

Property report pilot

A report request does not create a purchase. We first confirm whether available map coverage is suitable. If you choose to continue, the agreed price is shown before payment. The report describes the visible model and stated assumptions at the time it is produced.

Payments

Stripe handles payment, tax, receipts and subscription management for paid offers, and is the merchant of record for those transactions. The price and billing terms are shown before checkout. Sun Map Pro is a monthly subscription that renews until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time.

Acceptable use

Do not interfere with the service, bypass reasonable access controls, misuse third-party map services, attempt to extract restricted map data or use Sun Map for unlawful activity.

Availability

The service may change or become unavailable. We do not promise uninterrupted access or coverage at every address.
